PSYSIODOG CARE

Sighthounds are an incredible group of sporting dogs. In the ring they can be graceful, and in nature they are lightning fast. However, being beautiful or fast alone is not enough. As owners, we want to provide them with the best possible life experience.

How physiotheraphy helps our sighthounds:

  • Injury prevention – sighthounds have verz fine yet exceptionally strong musculature. Physiotherapy helps prevent muscle strains, tendon injuries, and joint overload.
  • Support for sporting performance– in sporting sighthounds (lure coursing, racing), physiotherapy improves mobility, strenghth and recovery after physical activity.
  • Faster recovery – after training, competitions, injuries, or surgery, physiotherapy supports faster recovery and reduces the reisk of chronic issues.
  • Correct posture and movement patterns – sighthounds have a unique body structure and gait. Physiotherapy helps maintain proper biomechanics and muscle balance.
  • Care for show dogs – helps maintain good muscle tone, fluid movement, and overall physical condition.
  • Comfort for couch-loving sighthounds – companion sighthounds can also experience back pain, stiffness, or issues caused by their lack of movement. Physiotherapy helps improve their comfort and quality of life.
  • Support for orthopedic conditions – physiotherapy aids rehabilitation after injuries, surgeries, or musculoskeletal issues.
  • Longer active life – regular physiotherapy helps sighthounds stay mobile, strong, and pain-free for as long as possible.
